. I think bith are the top dogs in the chains saw world but that certyainly does not mean there the only good ones. Popularity really seems based on market saturation. In greater Detroit I think Lowes sells Husqvarna but it's tough to find a parts/service dealer here, at least compared to Stihl which is immmensly popular throughout the state.
